As you may know, my favorite band are the Monsters of Finnland Lordi! This September they've got a new album comin' out, and with every new album, they change their costumes. The new costumes were previewed today...and boy are they awesome!

I'll start with, Mr.Lordi's new outfit. One word, SNAKES! I simply adore all the snakes coiled around him, it creates such a good contrast with his cold armor. Also, the use of the Lordi logo on the costume is very very nice, parts of the symbol are even carved into his face! All in all, there hasn't been a major shift in his costume, but the snakes are such an interesting addition and I'm happy that the detail in his armor (especially the chestplate) has increased, as I thought the last costume was a bit lacking in detail of armor compaired to the other costumes.

Now, how about Amen? I have to say, it's an excelent improvement of the last costume. They seem to have fused Amen's older appearence with his newer appearence, an' I love it! I adore things such as flowing bandages and ribbons in costumes, an' Amen's new outfit has that flowing quality which I love. As with Lordi, not such a monumental shift, but a very big improvement I think.

Ah, Awa! Unlike Mr.Lordi or Amen's costumes, Awa's new outfit has taken a major shift, and what a shift! Awa's old outfits were more a case of an elegant countess type, but now...she's become a badass 80's heavy metal rocker! What can I say? I love it. Not only do I want her dress and boots, her new costume radiates a vicious sense of brutality and sexyness that her orginal costumes just didn't have. It was a deffinate shift for her, and was definately not what I was expecting, but I think it's an execellent change for her.

Next is Kita. Wow, I love the new direction for Kita, he's looking smexy and totally badass! Slightly like Amen, he seems to have returned to a similar look to that which he had for the 'Get Heavy' and 'Monsterican Dream' albums, an' I think that was a really good move for him. The costume contains refined elements of the old ones, such as the chains around his face, and refined elements of the newer costumes, such as the Japanese pieces to the outfit. Also, he has bright red highlights to his hair, which I simply adore! To sumise, Kita's costume has returned to it's older style whilst still retaining elements of the newer ones, and I love it, I absolutely love it.

Last but not least is my favourite monsterman, the gorgeous OX! OX is still as hot as ever in his new costume, an' his horns an' hooves just keep gettin' bigger. Like Awa, he looks far more brutal, what with his new outfit being covered in HUGE chains and lots of chainmail an' all. I just think he looks awesome in every respect, I thought it would be difficult for them to make him look even more hellsih, but they definately have. His coat is just brilliant, an' I think all-in-all, OX just looks amazing! All hail the Hellbull !

Overall, the new costumes are awesome in every way an' are far more brutal an' scary than before. Well done Lordi, you have surpassed yourselves once more!

On a different note, my apologies for remaining silent for so long, I just need to become more motivated, an' perhaps become alot less tired all the time, I just have some issues with tiredness thats all , if anyone has any tips on being less tired all the time could you please tell me...an' if anyone tells me to go to bed earlier, they're gettin' punched up the bracket because I've tried that an' it doesn't work. Also, Ive got quite a few sketches and some traditional piece which I'm working on, so hopefully gonna upload them soon.
